eBay Item Specifics as product attributes

When creating an eBay listing, bring in the eBay item specifics (especially the required ones) for that eBay category. M2ePro does this for Magento. As a bonus they could be used as product attributes on the front end of the woocommerce store.

Yes, I understand that it does that for importing products from eBay into Woocommerce, but will it do that when creating a new product in woocommerce and publishing/listing it on eBay from the woocommerce store?

    Hi Talsneed.

Yes, WP-Lister will pull all available item specifics (in the item specifics table section) for you to use when you select an eBay primary category on the edit product page or listing profile.

Furthermore, you can use product attributes in WC which will be sent to eBay as item specifics.

WP-Lister takes product attributes in Woocommerce and sends them to eBay as item specifics by default. All you need to do is visit the attributes tab in your edit product page, add an attribute, then in the box to the right put in the value of the attribute. Then when you send this item to eBay those product attributes will be listed as item specifics on eBay.

Or if you would like, in WP-Lister Pro for eBay, the Item specifics box will show in the Listing Profile and edit product page after you select a category, (the lite version only includes this feature on each edit product page and not in the listing profile) and all you will need to do is input the value once, and every listing linked to that listing profile will use that value.

You can read more about item specifics here:

If you wish to exclude some product attributes from being used as item specifics on eBay, browse to the “advanced” settings page of WP-Lister. You can enter the attribute name into the “Exclude attributes” field. That will stop WP-Lister from sending that attribute to eBay as an item specific. After you enter the attribute into that field, you will need to update the listing (make sure it is unlocked) so it is marked as “Changed” in WP-Lister, then revise the listing on the “Listings” page of WP-Lister.

Note this setting cannot remove the item specifics on eBay once it has been listed. So for existing listings that contain item specifics created from product attributes I would recommend removing them from eBay manually, then revise the listing in WP-Lister again to make sure it is not being added back.

For all newly listed listings, the item specifics will be ignored and never sent to eBay.

    All the best!
